Earle Street Academy believes that children learn best through play and hands on activities. We believe that by engaging each child’s own natural curiosity, we are able to help build self-confidence, respect for one another and independence. Our classrooms are structured to allow learning through group time, outdoor play, project-based learning and centers. Our centers such as home living, sensory exploration, art, books and music are all designed to ignite imaginative play and enhance a child’s learning experience. We incorporate a loving, nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Lead Teacher Position

Earle Street Academy is currently searching for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Teacher. Team members are responsible for abiding by DSS and ESA school policies and exhibiting successful classroom management skills. In addition, our developmentally appropriate curriculum allows us to provide opportunities for children to grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Our team embraces the view that all children develop at different rates and it is our job to help foster confidence and an environment that promotes growth.
 

Candidates should:

  • Be passionate about working with children

  • Have at least 6 months experience working with ages 0-5 in DSS licensed/registered preschool

  • Have an Associates Degree or higher (preferred)

  • Be dependable

  • Be flexible

  • Be enthusiastic, creative, and energetic


Pay between $12.65-$15.95 (depending on qualifications)

Teacher's Aide Position
